SUNDAY School

connect. learn. serve.

discipleship.

Discipleship is the lifelong process of growing in your walk with God for the purpose of becoming more like Christ. At AFC, our mission is to make disciples who are obedient followers of Christ.

As a church we are committed to the Great Commission to "go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you". (Matthew 28:19-20)

This mission is carried out at AFC by connecting with others in Sunday School classes and Small Groups.

relationships.

Relationships are so important in our Christian walk. We find great value in our Sunday School classes! There are classes for all ages! They are offered each Sunday morning at 10:20am AND one at 11:15am. We encourage to try different classes and see where you best fit. Please contact Sunday School Superintendent Bill Creel at creelb@comcast.net or the church office at office@andersonfirstchurch.org for more information.
AFC offers two types of Discipleship Groups, Sunday School and Small Groups. We encourage you to be a part of both!

gathering.

Sunday School is offered for all ages...including ADULTS!

We use the phrase, "not your grandma's Sunday School," because folks tend to think Sunday School is an old-fashioned term. At AFC, it is not. We value continued learning and growing deeper in our walk with Christ.  As a matter of fact, we average 300+ people in Sunday School each week.

Classes are offered at 10:20am each Sunday. We also have one adult class that meets at 11:15am to accommodate 2nd service attenders.
